We Assembled Homeless Care Packs

For Love Placentia Day the Rotary Club of Placentia donated supplies for 200 Homeless Care Packs. Each Pack consists of chap stick, travel tissues, hand sanitizer, socks, and bottled water packed in a resealable plastic bag. Saturday April 24 the Rotarians met with other community members to write an encouraging note for each kit and assemble the kits and ready them for distribution.

Ward reminded the club members of Arbor Day @ the city center @ 5:00 PM via Facebook. You may attend in person as well. There will be 2 community meetings in regard to the plans for development f the packing house on the North side of Crowther, between Melrose and Bradford. 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 4 @ Tlaquepaque and then 6:00 PM on Thursday, May 6 @ the senior Center on Bradford Ave. there will be 270 units. There will be 2 1/2 stories underground for parking.

Fine Master Glenn-
Ward & Gil fined $2 for not wearing any Rotary logo. Nate contributed $23 to the Penny Pot for Alicia’s birthday. Jim had $5 left from his trip to Santa Barbara!
Happy Bucks: Alice had $1 just because, Roy had $1 for taking Mychal to see King Kong @ the movies, Ward had $25 for all of the Rotarians who volunteered for ❤️ Placentia. Alice had $10 for a visit to the optometrist, Hugh had $2 scooter bucks for his visit to the dentist, Craig had $5 for his son returning safely returning from his final tour in Afghanistan! Nate had $5 for Glenn serving as Fine Master for April. Glenn had $5 for Roy taking over the position for May.
Club Assembly-

Ward is proud of all the club had accomplished this year!

May 2 is BrewFest by the Rotary Club of Brea. May 1o is the 100th anniversary for the Rotary Club of Anaheim & Rotary International President , Holger Knaack will be attending virtually. Everyone is invited to attend.

District 5320 Conference is May 15 on Zoom. Please register through DACdb. The dental clinic is tentatively set for June 5 @ St. Joseph on Bradford Ave.

Next week the Interact members who attending RYLA will be sharing their experience.
