Rotarians Celebrate One Year Support of Veteran's Center

Rotarian President Kathi Baldwin and Past President Ward Smith attend the One Year Anniversary of Veteran's Village. The Rotary Club of Placentia has raised over $4,000 to help furnish household and personal items for Veteran's Village.

Ticket sales on pace but still need to sell more
Yard Signs are available (6). All have been distributed

Veteran Village event was very nice and well attended.
The community room was named in honor of Craig Green and a nice ceremony took place surprising Councilman Green
Entry monument on Krmaer missing Rotary medallion due to traffic accident. We will see if we can salvage form old monument and replace.
No parks will be removed over the three-year parks project, just refurbished
Again, tree planting by Rotary 2 weeks ago looks great and to date no bill from city.

Small Business Expo at Placentia Roundtable Women’s Club will be 9/14 5:30-7:30
Rotary will have a booth worked by Michele

BREAKFAST – Burritos today, this makes Nate feel it’s tolerable.

$100 Craig for the death of his close friend and hiking buddy at the young age of 30.

PROGRAM: Club Assembly and Informational

We will induct 3 new members
We will participate in an auction for Cisca’s famous peanut brittle and or fudge. All proceeds are for the Foundation in lieu of a Foundation Gala. ALL MEMBERS PLEASE ATTEND.
These auctions have raised $30k so far.
We will also be selecting our Inspirational Rotarian.
Please bring a bottle of wine for wine pull at Cowabunga
