Junior United Soccer Association: The Outreach Program for Soccer
TOPSoccer is a modified version of the game of soccer. It was designed to provide opportunities for athletes with disabilities. It provides affordable opportunity for fitness, fun, and building self-esteem. Modifications are made to the game to allow full participation and enjoyment for each athlete. One-on-one assistance is available to those who are in need of it. TOPSoccer offers a recreational, leisure approach to the game of soccer.Currently, the CYSA-South is promoting the development of new clubs and individual teams of TOPSoccer players throughout the seven districts.

Weekly Meeting
March 16, 2022

In attendance for the weekly meeting at Alta Vista Country Club were Kathi, Glenn, Maverick, Polly, Hugh, Elizabeth, JoAnn, Jim, Alice, Ward, Roy, Nate, and Dottie. Via Zoom, Lisa

Guests: Our speaker, Sandy Castillo from JUSA Top Soccer
President Kathi rang the bell calling us to order at 7:00 am followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Jim and words of inspiration from Maverick.

Surprise- Breakfast was Burrito.

Community Report: Ward
New procedures for Outdoor Dining were presented and approved. Citizen input on this procedure is appreciated.
RV parking rules are to be updated

Club News
Cowabunga – Lisa: Will send list of committees and duties. Please sign up to help with this event.
Leadership Forum – Kathi: Subject was Peace and the speaker spoke about the refuges from Diet Nam.
Tuesday Social -Alice: Social was held at Rembrandt's. Twenty people attended and a good time was had by all.
District News – Jim: Donate funds for the assistance in Ukraine through the District for local Rotary Clubs to get Grant Funds. There is a link on our website.

Program – Sandy Castillo, JUSA Top Soccer. Junior United Soccer Association.
Her group provides the opportunity for Special Needs children to play soccer. They are looking for volunteers at their Festival on July 16th. This is an event that provides many opportunities for the children to play and conpete. Sandy is very passionate about “her” kids.
