Jim introduced our Speaker’s who happen to be colleagues of his at the Fisher House.
Terry Board President and Linda Executive Director of Fisher House and our own Jim Paddock is a Board member.
Fisher House is like the Ronald McDonald House but for the VA and all-encompassing in the needs of the patient and their family.
91 houses including 3 abroad
A Family’s place to stay for free while a patient is at VA
On VA campuses, 4 family suites per floor, multi floor buildings
Created by Zachary and Elizabeth Fischer
Successful builder/Developer who wanted to help veterans
Build hoes and pass to Government to maintain and run
When raising money to build home they surpassed their goals by $1.5 millon.
Created investment account and interest pays overhead on Home
.93 of every $1 goes to Military Family in need on National Level and even higher percentage on local level.
