Meeting Minutes
September 15, 2021
In attendance for the weekly meeting at Alta Vista CC of Placentia: Michelle, Jim, Ward, Kevin, Roy, Nate, Alex, Dottie, Alice, Patti, TC, Glenn, Kathi, Maverick, Hugh, Craig
Unfortunately we lost the ZOOM connection before the meeting started, sorry to all who lost connection.
We kicked things off at 7am with the pledge from Glenn and words of inspiration from Roy. Followed by an introduction of our speaker Kristen Maahs form our Program Chair Hugh.
Checking in with Ward and the current state of the city “is all good”. Maybe the shortest City Report in Rotary History. Thanks to Ward for yielding time to our program.
Chamber at it again last week with the Lunch Mob at Tacos Way from : 11:30 – 1 Sep 15th. Then on Thursday the Ribbon Cutting of the new Yoga spot in town GOOD YOGA at 2:30pm. Finally, the Business Success presentation on Sept 22 from 11:30-1 will be on integrating video into your business. This will be available via ZOOM.
Michelle repped the club last week at the Small Business Expo at the RoundTable Women’s Club of Placentia. The turn out was modest with about 75-90 folks on hand.
COWABUNGA NEWS
Alex presented the update for the event that went off last Saturday to a gracious and satisfied crowd. SELL TICKETS was the battle cry leading up to the event. Luckily Hugh was able to satisfy Nate's need for Tubs or we would have had warm drinks. MORE TO COME NEXT WEEK
