In attendance for the weekly meeting at Alta Vista CC of Placentia; Michelle, Jim, Roy, Ward, Ron, Dottie, Paul, Alice, Patti, TC, Glenn, Kathi, Maverick, Hugh, Craig, Kathi, Debye

We kicked things off at 7am with the pledge from Ron and words of inspiration from Ron. It’s the Ron Show this week
City report form Ward included these tidbits
Madison Ave form Kramer to Placentia is being resurfaced as we speak
Melrose south to Anaheim is now underway as well
Blue Ribbon Committee for the new Senior Center meeting on Wednesday 9-29 6pm City Hall
Community Services is looking at their Fall Calendar, possible opportunity for Rotary at Halloween event , more to come soon
Last week Ward attended the League of Cities meeting in Sacramento.
Top area of discussion was Tax distribution from online sales fulfillment centers.
Tomorrow 9/30 State of the city at 11:15 am at the Alta Vista CC

Restaurant week starts next week in Placentia!
11/18 at Tustin Ranch Golf Club will be an Economic and Community Development presentation sponsored by the Irvine Chamber

10/24 is World Polio Day. Jim let everyone know you have until Oct 27th to sign up for the monthly donations for the Polio Blue Ribbon Society
11/20 we will work on a Homeless project
Cisca has raised $52000 from her toffee raffle this Fall
7 weeks until the Day of Thankfulness, Nov 18th in conjunction with the Placentia Roundtable Women’s Club
Alice made sure that we remembered to add money for the wallet trick. WE have 3 new members we want to get started on their Paul Harris.
